Erica M. Tuff
Ms. Tuff received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Charlotte School of Law. She continued her legal studies at Pepperdine School of Law where she completed a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
Ms. Tuff’s dedication for serving those in need began during her undergraduate studies where she worked with a local literacy program to help children and families in underserved schools. While in law school, under the student practice act, Ms. Tuff represented terminated employees in their unemployment benefits hearings, and won benefits awards for each of her clients.
Early in her career, Ms. Tuff served as a Judicial Clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware. She then transitioned into an in-house corporate counsel position for an international restaurant corporation. In 2014, Ms. Tuff reignited her passion for helping injured accident victims, and their families, throughout Georgia, when she joined a plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm.
At Kaine Law, Ms. Tuff effectively combines her experience, as well as her caring and sympathetic nature, to provide assistance to injured clients while fighting for justice and fairness in the process.
Ms. Tuff is a volunteer attorney with Cobb County’s CHINS/TIP (Children in Need of Services/Truancy Intervention Program) representing children in juvenile court hearings. Outside of the law, Ms. Tuff serves on the Young Leader’s Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta where she is the Secretary/Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Events Committee. She has also served as a Big Sister since 2014.
